Proposal - MEDIA INSTITUTION

FUNDING: Fox Searchlight Pictures - our film would have a greater chance of success, and they would be likely to fund our film since they have funded films of the same genre (romantic comedy/drama) e.g. Ruby Sparks, Adam




PRODUCTION: AB Productions (our own production company) - since this is our production, we would want our own production company in order to have the most control possible over the actual film itself.



DISTRIBUTION: The Works, independent UK distributor (similar genres e.g. The Knot, also other genres)

They don't confine themselves to a particular genre (suitable for our romantic-comedy-drama hybrid) but have distributed British indie films of similar genres:



Release plan: limited theatrical release, TV and streaming opportunities - as a British independent film it would not be able to pay for worldwide theatrical release and it is unlikely that this would be successful. It would most likely be more successful on TV.

Possible international release (film festivals)
