FILM NARRATIVE

Equilibrium:
Christopher meets Naomi on Southbank. (seen at the end of opening)

Disequilibrium:
Family and friends of Naomi don’t like it because of his disorder and they say she can do better. The couple start arguing and break up.
This is similar to Adam and Beth's storyline in Adam:
  

"He lives in his own world. You don't need to make that kind of compromise."
"You don't make my decisions!"

Resolution:

The characters get back together, Naomi's peers learn to approve of the relationship.

Key characters:

·         Christopher – Protagonist, 18 years old, has OCD/Social anxiety, generally dislikes making conversation with strangers

      Naomi – Eccentric female. Meets protagonist in coffee shop, teaches Christopher to be a bit more child-like despite his disorder, taught to be more responsible/grown up by Christopher
